Does the app listen in the background?
No. Recording starts only when you press the record button, and the microphone is used only while you have an active recording session.
Where do my voice recordings and client data go?
Audio is transcribed by a cloud speech-recognition service, and the transcript is sent to Google's Gemini API to draft your invoice. Recordings, transcripts, clients, and invoices are stored in Supabase, encrypted in transit and at rest, and are visible only to you.
Is my business data used to train AI models?
No. Adelyons Software LLC does not use your recordings, transcripts, or business data to train AI models, does not sell your data or your clients' data, and does not show ads.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings, Danger Zone, Delete Account, or by emailing dev@adelyons.com from your account email. Deletion removes your account, recordings, transcripts, jobs, clients, invoices, and action items from production systems within 30 days.
Privacy & AI Transparency
Voice To Task CRM is a cloud-based app that uses third-party AI. Here's what you should know up front:
- Third-Party AI Processing: Your voice recordings are transcribed to text, and the transcript is sent to Google's Gemini AI to extract invoice details. This processing happens on Google's servers, not on your device.
- Cloud Storage: Recordings, transcripts, client records, and invoices are stored securely in Supabase (encrypted in transit and at rest), tied to your account.
- Analytics & Crash Reporting: We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand usage and fix bugs. We do not sell your data.
- Your Clients' Data: Client names, addresses, and phone numbers you record are visible only to you. We never contact your clients or share their information.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app or by emailing us.
