Delete Your Synced Data
This applies only if you turned a list into a Knelt Plus shared list. Unshared, nothing about you is stored off your device and there is nothing here to delete — deleting the App is enough.
Unshare in the app (immediate)
Open the shared list’s Detail screen and tap Unshare. That list’s row on our backend — its synced requests, prayed counts and answered status — is deleted straight away, for both of you. Either person can do this; neither needs the other’s permission.
The copy on each phone stays. Your own list, its requests and your journal are yours; delete a request or the whole list from within the App the same way you would any other, or delete the App entirely.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the phone, email dev@adelyons.com with the subject line Knelt Data Deletion Request. Because there is no account, include the install id shown in Settings if you still have access to any device that had the shared list open, or tell us the six-character share code you used and roughly when you shared it; that is enough to find and delete the shared list.
What will be deleted
- The shared list’s row on our backend and the anonymous identities attached to it.
- Every synced request in that list — text, notes, verse reference.
- Prayed counts and answered status recorded for that list.
Not deleted: the copy on each phone (delete it in the App or uninstall), your other lists (which were never shared), and purchase records held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat under their own policies.
Before you send it
If you have an active subscription, cancel it in your store account first — deleting synced data does not cancel a subscription. We process email requests within 30 days. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
