1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using Knelt (“the App”), provided by Adelyons Software LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (the “Terms”) and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, Adelyons Software LLC grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use one copy of the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. This license transfers no ownership. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. The Service

Knelt is a private prayer journal and prayer list. It stores the requests, journal entries and scripture references you type, builds a daily list from each list’s configured rhythm, and helps you keep a record of what you marked as answered. The complete King James Version and World English Bible texts are bundled with the App for you to attach as reference material to your own requests.

Knelt does not provide religious, spiritual, medical, legal or counseling advice, and using the App does not create any relationship between you and Adelyons Software LLC beyond that of a software licensee. You are solely responsible for the content you enter, and for any decisions you make based on it.

4. Subscriptions & Billing (Knelt Plus)

• Free & Plus: The free tier includes unlimited prayer requests, three named lists plus Unsorted, Pray Now, the answered-prayer timeline, one reminder per request plus a daily reminder, the complete KJV and WEB Bible, the journal, and backup/restore. No payment card is needed to use the App. Knelt Plus adds several reminders per request, list rhythm editing, Look Back, the answered-prayer book export, extra themes, and creating a shared-list code. Export and restore are never paid features.
• Store-managed billing: Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and managed there. We never see or store your payment-card details.
• Auto-renewal: The monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The annual plan begins with a 7-day free trial, clearly disclosed at the point of purchase. The monthly plan has no trial. The lifetime option is a one-time, non-renewing purchase.
• Cancellation: Cancel any time in your device’s subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
• Changes: We may change pricing or what Plus includes with notice; changes apply at your next renewal.

5. Invite a Friend

The App can generate an invite code. When a new install redeems one, both sides receive 30 days of Knelt Plus. Codes are for new installs, one redemption per install, with per-referrer caps; we may withdraw or refuse a reward for abuse. The reward is a timed entitlement, not a refund or a cash equivalent.

6. Shared Lists

Knelt Plus lets you pair one list with another person using a six-character code. Once paired, that list’s requests, prayed counts and answered status sync automatically between the two of you while the App is open. Creating a code requires Knelt Plus; joining one never does. Do not share a list you do not intend the other person to see. Either person can unshare it at any time, which removes it from our backend; see the Privacy Policy and Delete synced data for what that does and does not remove.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App except as permitted by law; not to use the shared-list backend to store or transmit content unrelated to its intended purpose; not to interfere with our backend, its rate limits or the invite system; and not to use the App where doing so would be unlawful.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adelyons Software LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these Terms. Sections 8, 9 and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute not subject to the rules of the applicable app store will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Iowa, to the extent permitted by law.
