Every measured hit is stored with a slow-motion replay you can scrub frame by frame with the stats overlaid, and clips export with those stats burned in. Measurements are estimates produced by computer vision and AI, meant for training feedback and progress tracking rather than officiating or scouting.

Does VolleyVelocity upload my videos?
The clip you choose to analyze, up to about 30 seconds and trimmed and compressed on your device, is uploaded to secure storage and sent to Google's Gemini AI service to compute your hit measurements. The app shows a notice and asks permission before anything is sent, the clip is deleted from the AI service immediately after processing, and it stays in your account storage until you delete your account.
How accurate are the spike speed results?
Measurements are estimates produced by computer vision and AI, intended for entertainment, training feedback, and progress tracking. They are not intended for officiating, medical decisions, scouting decisions, or any safety-critical use.
How do the friend, team, and global leaderboards work?
You add friends with a share link, create or join a team with a code, and your top hits appear on friend, team, and global boards next to your display name and playing position. You can leave a team or remove a friend at any time from inside the app.
What is the minimum age, and how do I delete my account?
VolleyVelocity requires users to be at least 13 years old. You can request deletion of your VolleyVelocity data at any time from the account deletion page, and deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
