1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the VolleyVelocity mobile application (the "App"), provided by Adelyons Software LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. The Service
VolleyVelocity analyzes short volleyball spike clips you record or import and returns estimated measurements such as velocity, power, contact height, and spin. The App also provides hit history, leaderboards, friends, teams, slow-motion replay, and share features.
Not a Medical or Coaching Service: Measurements are estimates produced by computer vision and AI. They are intended for entertainment, training feedback, and progress tracking — not for officiating, medical diagnosis, scouting decisions, or any safety-critical use.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
- You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
- VolleyVelocity Pro: Optional subscription that unlocks unlimited hit analyses, full leaderboards, and team competition features.
- Billing: All purchases are billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) under their respective terms.
- Free Trial: Trials, when offered, convert automatically to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime from your device's subscription settings.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the clips you record. By submitting a clip for analysis, you grant us a limited license to process the relevant frames in order to compute and return your hit measurements, and to display your measurements, display name, and (if you choose) shared clips on leaderboards or via share links.
You agree not to submit content that infringes another person's rights, contains illegal material, or violates these Terms.
6. Friends, Teams & Leaderboards
- Friend and team relationships are visible to participating users.
- Your display name and top hit results may appear on friend, team, and global leaderboards.
- You can leave a team or remove a friend at any time from within the App.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.
- Submit doctored, looped, or otherwise fraudulent footage intended to inflate leaderboard standings.
- Use the App to harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
- Use automated means to access the App, leaderboards, or our APIs.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any measurement and disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adelyons Software LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. You may also request deletion of your VolleyVelocity data via our Account Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Adelyons Software LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
