Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using Shot Form Lab (“the App”), provided by Adelyons Software LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”), our End User License Agreement and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

2. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, Adelyons Software LLC grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control. A coach or trainer may use the App with the players they work with. This license transfers no ownership. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. The Service

Shot Form Lab analyses basketball shooting form from a video you film or upload. It estimates body position in each frame on your device, measures checkpoints such as release angle, elbow alignment, knee dip and follow-through, compares them with the player’s own history, and shows rule-based tips.

Measurements are estimates from a phone camera and depend on the camera angle, distance, lighting and clip quality. They are for training feedback only. The App is not a medical, physical-therapy or injury-prevention tool and does not provide professional coaching, medical or safety advice. Train within your ability, warm up, and stop if something hurts. You are responsible for filming safely and for having permission to film anyone who appears in a clip.

4. Free, Pro & Billing

• Free: 3 shot analyses a week (a clip the App cannot read never counts), the full result with the overlay and Why/Try, history, trends, CSV export, 10 saved shots and 1 player.
• Shot Form Lab Pro adds unlimited analyses, unlimited players and saved shots, Ghost and Sets.
• Store-managed billing: Pro is sold as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, through Google Play, and managed there. Prices are set by the store in your local currency and shown to you before you buy. We never see or store your payment-card details.
• Free trial: the annual plan may begin with a free trial, as stated at the point of purchase. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the end of the current period. The lifetime option is a one-time, non-renewing purchase.
• Cancellation: cancel any time in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled by Google under its own policies.
• Changes: we may change pricing or what Pro includes with notice; changes apply at your next renewal.

5. Invite a Friend

The App can generate an invite code. When a new install redeems one, both sides receive 30 days of Shot Form Lab Pro. Codes are for new installs, one redemption per install, with per-referrer caps; we may pause the program, or withdraw or refuse a reward for abuse. The reward is a timed entitlement, not a refund or a cash equivalent.

6. Your Content

The videos, frames, players and measurements in the App are yours and stay on your device. We do not receive them, so we cannot recover them: if you delete the App or its data, they are gone. Use CSV export to keep a copy of your numbers.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App except as permitted by law; not to interfere with our backend, its rate limits or the invite system; and not to use the App where doing so would be unlawful.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adelyons Software LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for any injury arising from training, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these Terms. Sections 8, 9 and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute not subject to the rules of the applicable app store will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Iowa, to the extent permitted by law.
