Privacy Policy

The short version

• No account. No sign-up, no email, no password, no name required.
• Your video, frames, poses and numbers stay on your phone. Shot Form Lab reads your shot on the device; nothing about your shots is ever uploaded.
• Camera only to film the shot. No microphone. Shot Form Lab never records audio.
• The network is used for three things only: Google Play billing through RevenueCat (with a random install id), the optional invite-a-friend code, and the card that suggests other Adelyons apps.
• No ads, no analytics SDK, no tracking across apps or websites.

What stays on your phone

Shot Form Lab (“the App”), by Adelyons Software LLC (“we”, “us”), analyses basketball shooting form entirely on your device. When you film or upload a shot, the App extracts frames from the video, finds the shooter’s body position (pose) in each frame, and measures the shot, all on the phone. The following are stored only on your device:

• The replay frames and pose data for each shot you read (the original video itself is not kept by the App after the read; a clip you uploaded stays in your gallery, untouched).
• Each shot’s measurements, checkpoints, view and time, and your saved shots.
• Players you add: a name (which can be anything) and a shooting hand. No age, no email, no photo.
• Settings, the free-analysis counter, review-prompt timing and a random install id.

Shots you read but do not save, and their frames, are deleted automatically after a day. A CSV export is created only when you ask for one, and goes only where you send it with your phone’s share sheet. Deleting the App, or Delete all data in the Locker room, removes all of it. We have no copy, because we never receive one.

Permissions

• Camera: used only while you are filming a shot in the App, never in the background. Video is recorded without audio.
• Microphone: not requested and never used.
• Photos and videos: when you choose Upload clip, the system picker gives the App the one clip you pick, and nothing else.
• Internet: for the three services below only.

The App does not request your location, contacts, or any other permission.

Purchases (Shot Form Lab Pro)

Shot Form Lab Pro is bought through Google Play and processed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous install id (a random UUID generated on your phone, not a device or advertising id) and your purchase status, along with basic device and app information it needs to deliver and restore the purchase. It never receives your shots, videos, players or measurements. Google processes the payment under its own privacy policy; we never see or store payment-card details. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

Invite a Friend (Optional)

Shot Form Lab includes an optional invite feature: if a friend enters your invite code, you both receive 30 days of Shot Form Lab Pro at no charge. It is entirely optional, and the rest of the App never needs a connection.

When — and only when — you open the invite screen or enter a code, the App sends the following to our invite service (hosted on Supabase) so the free month can be granted through RevenueCat:

• A random installation identifier generated on your device. It is a random value, not a device or advertising ID, and it is not derived from your device or from you.
• Your RevenueCat anonymous customer identifier, so the free month is applied to the right installation.
• The six-character invite code being created or redeemed.

That is the entire payload. It does not include your videos, shots, players, measurements or history — none of your shot data is involved in the invite feature in any way. We do not learn your name, email address, contacts, or location, and there is still no account and no login. Records of invite codes and redemptions are kept only to grant the reward, to prevent abuse, and as an audit trail; email us and we will delete yours.

Other Adelyons apps card

From time to time the App may show a card suggesting another app made by Adelyons Software LLC. To choose it, the App asks our server (hosted on Supabase) for suggestions, sending the App’s name, your platform (Android) and which Adelyons apps are already installed so it does not suggest those; it then records whether the card was shown, tapped or skipped, with no identifier attached. No information about you, your device id or your shots is sent. You can turn the card off from the card itself.

What Shot Form Lab does not do

• We do not upload, collect or store your videos, frames, poses, measurements or players on any server.
• We do not require an account, email address, name or login.
• We do not record audio or use the microphone.
• We do not collect location data or access your contacts.
• We do not use advertising identifiers, ads, or cross-app tracking.
• We do not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs that send your usage or personal data to us.
• We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with anyone.

Children

Shot Form Lab is made for players of all ages, often filmed by a parent or a coach, and it collects no personal information from anyone, children included: a player is a name you choose and a shooting hand, kept on the phone. Because there is no account and nothing is uploaded, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian can delete everything with Delete all data or by deleting the App.

Your rights

Because there is no account and your shots never leave your phone, your data is entirely in your hands: export it, delete it, or delete the App. For invite records, write to us and we will delete yours. Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA applies, you have rights of access, correction, deletion and portability; we do not sell personal information and never have.
