Manage POTS & Dysautonomia, One Day at a Time
Upright is a calm, private companion for living with POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) and dysautonomia. Record your standing heart-rate test, hit your daily salt and fluid targets, log symptoms and triggers, stay on top of your meds — and walk into your next appointment with a clear, doctor-ready report.
What it does:
- Standing heart-rate test record (NASA lean test) that flags a rise of 30 bpm or more
- Salt & fluid tracking toward your personalized daily targets
- Symptom & trigger logging to spot your patterns over time
- Medication reminders for midodrine, fludrocortisone, salt tablets & more
- A doctor-ready PDF report generated right on your phone (Upright Pro)
- Local-first & private — your health data never leaves your device
How It Works
🧍 Standing Test Record
Record your standing heart-rate test (the NASA lean test): enter your resting heart rate lying down and your peak heart rate standing, or, with Upright Pro, read both from your watch through Apple Health or Health Connect. Upright flags a rise of 30 bpm or more and saves each result to your history.
💧 Salt & Fluid Targets
Log salt and fluids with a couple of taps and watch your progress toward personalized daily targets — the cornerstone of conservative POTS management — so it's easy to stay consistent.
📝 Symptoms & Triggers
Quickly record symptoms like lightheadedness, brain fog, palpitations, and fatigue, along with the triggers behind a flare. Over time, the trends view helps you and your doctor see what's really going on.
💊 Medication Reminders
Set reminders for midodrine, fludrocortisone, salt tablets, and any other medications, so doses don't slip through the cracks on a hard day.
📄 Doctor-Ready PDF
With Upright Pro, generate a clean PDF summarizing your standing tests, intake, symptoms, and medications. It's built on-device and ready to print or share with your cardiologist, neurologist, or primary-care doctor.
🔒 Private by Design
There's no account and no cloud. Every entry lives in a local database on your phone — your symptoms, intake, tests, meds, and notes never leave your device. The report is the only thing you choose to share.

What is Upright?
Upright is a POTS and dysautonomia tracking app for iPhone and Android from Adelyons Software LLC. It records a standing heart-rate test, tracks salt and fluid intake against your daily targets, logs symptoms, triggers and medications, and, with Upright Pro, exports a doctor-ready PDF report generated on your device. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose any condition.
Everything is local-first: there is no account and no cloud backend, so your standing tests, intake logs, symptoms, medications and notes stay in a private database on your phone. Core daily tracking is free, with an optional Upright Pro upgrade.

Frequently asked questions
What is Upright used for?
Upright is used to track daily life with POTS and dysautonomia: standing heart-rate test results, salt and fluid intake against daily targets, symptoms and triggers, and medication reminders. Upright Pro exports a doctor-ready PDF report built on your device.
Is Upright available on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Upright is available on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android.
Does Upright diagnose POTS?
No. Upright is not a medical device and does not diagnose any condition. The standing test record, the calculated heart-rate rise, targets, reminders, and reports are informational aids only, and interpreting them is your doctor's job.
Where does Upright store my health data?
On your phone only. Standing tests, salt and fluid logs, symptoms, medications, and notes live in a private local database on the device. There is no account, no login, and no cloud backend that receives them.
Does Upright need an internet connection?
No. Tracking, the standing test, reminders, and PDF report generation all happen on your device. A connection is only needed to make or restore an Upright Pro purchase.
How much does Upright Pro cost?
Upright's core daily tracking is free. Upright Pro is available as an Annual subscription with a 7-day free trial, a Monthly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency at the time of purchase.
How do I delete my data from Upright?
Delete individual entries in the app, clear the app's data from the app or your device settings, or uninstall Upright to permanently remove everything stored locally. Because nothing is uploaded, there is no server-side copy of your health data to request deletion of.
Who is Upright for?
Upright is built for adults managing POTS or dysautonomia day to day: people who are newly diagnosed and gathering the numbers their doctor asked for, people tracking whether a treatment change is helping, and anyone preparing for an upcoming appointment.
Privacy First — Your Health Data Stays on Your Phone
Upright is built local-first. Here's exactly how it works:
- No account, no cloud, no server. You don't sign up or log in. There is no backend that receives your health data.
- Health data never leaves the device. Symptoms, salt & fluid logs, standing tests, medications, and notes are stored only in a local database on your phone.
- On-device reports. Your PDF is generated locally — it's shared only if and when you choose to share it.
- One billing helper. The only data that leaves your phone is purchase data, handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat to validate Upright Pro, and, only if you use Invite a friend, an invite code with an anonymous install id. Never your health data.
- You're in control. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it permanently removes everything from your device.
