Features

Everything you need to run your lot

Built for auto dismantlers, tow yards, and large dealerships that can't afford to waste time walking rows.

Real-Time Zone Tracking

Every vehicle's location updates every ~60 seconds — automatically. No manual scans, no check-ins, no stickers. The system works 24/7 without any staff action.

Scan VINs on Intake

Use your phone's camera to scan a vehicle's VIN barcode when it arrives. The system binds the car to its tire sensors in seconds — tracked from that moment on.

Instant Search

Find any car in under 3 seconds. Search by VIN, license plate, or make & model. The result shows the current zone, last seen time, and full movement history.

Multi-Device Team Access

Sign in once — every phone and tablet in your yard sees the same live map. Intake workers, lot managers, and the front desk all share a single view with no sync delays.

300+ Vehicle Protocols

Works with virtually any car or light truck manufactured since 2008, when federal TPMS mandates took effect in the US. Domestic, import, and euro models all supported.

Self-Serve Setup

Off-the-shelf receivers you buy and mount yourself in about a day — no installer, no site survey, no sales call. A step-by-step guide covers hardware, placement, and pairing. Health monitoring and software updates are automatic.

Live in one day, savings from day two

You own the hardware. The system runs itself.

01

Mount the receivers

Buy compact, off-the-shelf radio receivers (about $100 each) and mount them on poles, gates, and rooflines — the setup guide tells you exactly how many and where. Most yards are fully live within a single day.

02

Scan VINs on arrival

When a car arrives, your intake worker opens the app and scans the VIN barcode. That binds the vehicle to its tire sensors, and tracking starts immediately — no further action needed.

03

Find any car, anytime

Search by VIN, plate, or make & model. The app shows the car's current zone and last seen time. Stop walking the lot to find a specific vehicle — your staff saves 15–30 minutes per day.

What is Auto Lot Finder?

Auto Lot Finder is a business vehicle-tracking app for iOS and Android that shows where every car sits on a salvage, tow, impound, auction, or dealer lot. It reads the tire-pressure (TPMS) sensors already built into vehicles made since 2008, so nothing is installed in the cars themselves — staff search by VIN, plate, or make and model.

Radio receivers that you buy and mount yourself pick up those sensor broadcasts across the property, and each vehicle's zone updates roughly every 60 seconds with no manual scan or check-in. It is an operational tool for finding inventory faster, not a security or theft-prevention system.

Guides

Frequently asked questions

How does Auto Lot Finder find a car without GPS?

It listens for the radio broadcasts that the tire-pressure (TPMS) sensors inside each wheel already send. Receivers you mount around the property pick up those broadcasts, and the app maps each vehicle to a zone. Nothing is installed in the vehicles themselves — no GPS chips, no stickers.

Which vehicles does it work with?

Virtually any car or light truck manufactured since 2008, when federal TPMS mandates took effect in the US. Domestic, import, and euro models are all supported, across more than 300 vehicle protocols. Sensor recognition coverage varies by make, model, and year and improves over time.

Is Auto Lot Finder available on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Auto Lot Finder is on the App Store for iOS and on Google Play for Android. Every phone and tablet signed in to your organization sees the same live lot map.

How much does Auto Lot Finder cost?

The Scout plan is free and covers 2 lots, 20 intakes per month, and 30-day history. Yard is $99/mo for 6 lots, 300 intakes per month, and 1-year history, and Operations is $299/mo for unlimited lots, intakes, and history plus API access. Paid plans include a 30-day free trial, and you buy your own receivers (about $100 each, off the shelf).

Who installs the receivers?

You do — setup is self-serve. The receivers are off-the-shelf radio units you buy and mount yourself, and most yards are fully live within a single day using the step-by-step setup guide, which covers hardware, placement, and pairing. If you would prefer a completely hands-off option, email dev@adelyons.com to inquire about professional installation.

How often does a vehicle's location update?

Each tracked vehicle's zone updates roughly every 60 seconds, automatically, with no manual scans or check-ins. Tire sensors broadcast while the wheels are turning, so a car that has been parked for days keeps its last known zone.

Who can see my yard's data?

Only authenticated members of your team. Your vehicle inventory and movement data are isolated to your account, are never accessible to other customers, and are never sold. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. You can request a full export of your yard's data, or deletion of your account and all associated data, at any time by emailing dev@adelyons.com. Location logs are retained for 90 days by default to support historical movement tracking.

Your data stays yours

Auto Lot Finder is built for businesses that can't afford data leaks or compliance issues.
