Privacy Policy

Auto Lot Finder ("the App") is developed and operated by Adelyons Software LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a business customer.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy covers businesses ("Customers") and their employees ("Users") who access Auto Lot Finder through a paid subscription. The App is not intended for consumers or individuals under 18.

2. Information we collect

Account information: Email address used to sign in via magic link. We do not collect passwords.

Vehicle inventory: VINs, makes, models, years, and any other vehicle details your team enters into the system.

Location data: Zone assignments and movement logs for vehicles in your yard. This data belongs to your business.

Usage data: Feature usage, session durations, and crash reports to improve the service. This data is aggregated and not tied to individual vehicles or employees.

3. How we use your information

• To provide and maintain the Auto Lot Finder service
• To send authentication emails (magic links) when you sign in
• To provide customer support when you contact us
• To diagnose technical issues and improve the service
• To send service-related communications (maintenance notices, feature updates)

We do not use your vehicle inventory or employee data for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose other than operating the service.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except:

• Service providers: Infrastructure partners (hosting, database) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal compliance: If required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

Your yard's vehicle inventory is isolated to your account and is never accessible to other customers.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your subscription is active. Location logs are retained for 90 days by default to support historical movement tracking. Vehicle records are retained until you delete them or cancel your subscription.

Upon subscription cancellation, we retain data for 30 days to allow for reactivation, then permanently delete it upon request.

6. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authenticated members of your team. We use Supabase as our database infrastructure, which maintains SOC 2 Type II compliance.

7. Your rights

As a customer, you may at any time:

• Request a full export of your yard's data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Remove individual employee accounts from your subscription
• Update or correct vehicle records

8. Cookies and analytics

The Auto Lot Finder website uses Google Analytics (via Google tag G-8D9BKBSYVE) to understand how visitors interact with our marketing pages. This is limited to the public website only — the mobile app does not use Google Analytics. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the primary account holder at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
