These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Protein Only mobile application ("Protein Only", the "App"), published by Adelyons Software LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Protein Only, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Protein Only on devices you own or control, for your personal use, subject to these Terms and the EULA.
Protein Only is a tracking tool, not a medical device and not a healthcare service. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it does not manage or monitor any medication. Goal presets, including grams-per-kilogram ranges described as suitable for muscle protection or active training, are general planning figures — they are not a prescription and are not tailored to you.
Consult your doctor or a registered dietitian before changing your diet, particularly if you take a GLP-1 or other medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 18, or have a kidney, liver, metabolic, or other health condition. Never delay or disregard professional medical advice because of something in the App.
The photo estimate feature sends the photo you choose to a third-party AI model (Google's Gemini, accessed through Firebase AI Logic) and returns an estimated protein figure with a range. Estimates are approximations and can be substantially wrong. Portion size, preparation, hidden ingredients, and what is not visible in the frame all affect the true value. Estimates are presented for you to review and confirm, and nothing is logged until you do. Do not rely on them where accuracy matters medically.
Barcode lookups use the Open Food Facts database, a community-maintained open data source. Product entries may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect, and the bundled common-foods list contains typical values rather than measurements of the specific food in front of you. Always check the packaging where accuracy matters.
The entries, goal, and history you create are yours, and they remain on your device. Protein Only has no account system and no cloud sync. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you log and for any decision you make on the basis of it.
Manual logging is free, including favorites, quick-add, barcode scanning, the dial, streaks, seven days of history, and a limited allowance of AI photo estimates. Protein Only Pro unlocks unlimited photo estimates, full history and the calendar heat view, home-screen widgets, the fiber track, and reminder customization. Pro is available as:
Because each photo estimate has a real processing cost, unlimited use on any plan, including Lifetime, is subject to reasonable fair use; we may apply limits to abusive or automated volumes. Purchases are billed through your Apple ID or Google account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled anytime in your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Prices are shown in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region. Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable.
You agree not to misuse Protein Only, including by submitting automated bulk estimate requests, interfering with the App, or reverse engineering it except as permitted by law.
Protein Only is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any estimate, lookup, or nutrition figure will be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adelyons Software LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, for any health outcome, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Protein Only or from reliance on an estimate or food value it displayed.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Protein Only after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
