Delete From Within the App
The fastest way to delete your account is in the app itself: open the menu in the top bar and choose Delete account. This removes your account and all associated data.
Request Deletion by Email
You can also email us at dev@adelyons.com with the subject line The Long Goodbye Account Deletion Request. Please send it from the email address associated with your account.
Include the Following
- The email address associated with your account.
- Your display name, if available.
- Any details that help us identify the correct account.
What Will Be Deleted
- Your The Long Goodbye account.
- Your profile information.
- Your taps, countdowns, and moments.
- Your pairing with your partner (you will be unpaired).
Before You Submit
If you have an active subscription, cancel it through Google Play or the Apple App Store before requesting account deletion.
We process deletion requests and remove your data within 30 days. We may retain limited information where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or billing purposes.

In short: The Long Goodbye is just for you and your person. You can unpair and delete your account and everything in it at any time — in-app or by email.
