Delete Your Synced Data
This applies only if you linked a partner’s phone. Unlinked, nothing about you is stored off your device and there is nothing here to delete — deleting the app is enough.
Unlink in the app (immediate)
Open Settings → Your partner → Unlink. The pair and everything under it is deleted on the server straight away, for both of you: both taste snapshots, the shared “we went” history, any open or closed veto round and its votes, both member records and the anonymous identities attached to them. Either person can do this; neither needs the other’s permission.
The copy on each phone stays. Your own history and taste are yours; delete them with Settings → Forget what it learned, or by deleting the app.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the phone, email dev@adelyons.com with the subject line I’m Not Picky Data Deletion Request. Because there is no account, include the install id shown in the app if you still have access to any linked device, or tell us the six-character link code you used and roughly when you linked; that is enough to find and delete the pair.
What will be deleted
- The pair, both member records and the anonymous sign-in identities attached to them.
- Both synced taste snapshots — weights, per-place thumbs and bans.
- The shared “we went” history.
- Any veto round and every vote in it.
Not deleted: the copy on each phone (delete it in the app or uninstall), and purchase records held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat under their own policies. The anonymous daily search counters kept by our places proxy contain no location and no history and expire on their own within seven days.
Before you send it
If you have an active subscription, cancel it in your store account first — deleting synced data does not cancel a subscription. We process email requests within 30 days. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
