Gunnr

AI-Graded Football Highlight Scouting

Your Tape, Actually Graded

Upload a highlight video and Gunnr's AI grades it the way a scout would — real, position-specific measurements pulled from the film, not a self-reported stat sheet.

What it grades:

  • Top speed, acceleration, and burst — in real yards per second
  • Release velocity, accuracy by zone, and pocket presence for QBs
  • Route-running grade, separation, and a dedicated soft-hands score for receivers
  • Backpedal speed, closing burst, and ball skills for defensive backs
  • Get-off time and pass-rush win rate for the D-line
  • An overall (OVR) player card, level-adjusted for HS class, JUCO, college, or transfer portal
  • Projected college-freshman and college-senior impact, and an NFL baseline comparison

How It Works

🎬 Upload Any Highlight Video

Record or upload your film — phone video, hard-drive cutups, anything. Gunnr splits it into segments and grades every one.

🤖 AI Grades Every Position Differently

Powered by Google Gemini, the grading model applies a different metric set to every position group — a quarterback and a cornerback are never scored on the same scale.

🎮 A Video-Game-Style OVR Card

Every graded player gets an overall rating plus category grades for speed, power, agility, hands, and football IQ — built entirely from the film, not self-reported.

📈 Level-Adjusted, Never a Black Box

A high school sophomore and a college senior aren't graded on the same curve. Every OVR shows its exact adjustment math next to the score.

🐐 NFL Baseline Comparison

Every position is benchmarked against real NFL players graded on their own high school tape — a percentile comparison, never a promise.

🔍 Real Scout Search

Scout Access filters the entire player database by position, OVR range, any individual metric, class/level, and location radius.

🏈 Full Roster Management

Coaches add every player on the team, upload film for each one, and keep a running grading history in one place.

🔁 No Duplicate Profiles

Before a new profile is created, Gunnr checks for a likely existing match by name, school, and position — so film always lands on the right player.

What is Gunnr?

Gunnr is an AI football scouting app that grades American football highlight film. You upload a highlight video, and Gunnr returns position-specific measurements — top speed, release velocity, route-running grade and more — plus an overall OVR player card. Coaches manage a full roster; Scout Access subscribers search and filter the whole player database.

Grading is level-adjusted for high school class, JUCO, college, or transfer portal, and every OVR shows its exact adjustment math next to the score. Gunnr never requests device GPS — the only location it uses is a one-time geocode of the school address entered on a profile, which powers the Scout Access radius search.

Frequently asked questions

How does Gunnr grade a football highlight video?

You upload or record a highlight video and Gunnr splits it into segments, then grades every one. The grading is powered by Google Gemini, and it applies a different metric set to every position group, so a quarterback and a cornerback are never scored on the same scale.

What does Gunnr measure from highlight film?

Gunnr measures top speed, acceleration, and burst in real yards per second, plus position-specific metrics: release velocity, accuracy by zone, and pocket presence for quarterbacks; route-running grade, separation, and a soft-hands score for receivers; backpedal speed, closing burst, and ball skills for defensive backs; and get-off time and pass-rush win rate for the defensive line.

What is an OVR player card?

Every graded player gets an overall rating, called an OVR, plus category grades for speed, power, agility, hands, and football IQ. The card is built entirely from the graded film rather than self-reported numbers, and it is level-adjusted so a high school sophomore and a college senior are not graded on the same curve.

How accurate are Gunnr's AI grades?

Gunnr produces AI-generated estimates, not certified measurements or professional scouting evaluations. Accuracy depends on video quality, camera angle, distance, lighting, and frame rate, so results can be inaccurate or inconsistent between videos. The app is not a substitute for in-person scouting or combine testing, and the NFL baseline is a percentile comparison, never a promise of outcome.

Who can see a player's profile on Gunnr?

Any signed-in user sees a summary of every public player profile: name, high school, position, and headline OVR. Full detail, meaning every metric, projection, and the NFL baseline comparison, is available only to Scout Access subscribers and to the owner of that player's roster. There is currently no way to make an individual profile fully private.

Can a parent or coach create a profile for a player under 18?

Yes. Profiles for players under 18 are created by an adult account holder, a parent, guardian, or coach, never by the minor signing up directly. Whoever uploads film of a minor is responsible for having the authority and consent needed to do so, and a parent or guardian can request removal of that profile at any time by emailing dev@adelyons.com.

What is the difference between Roster Pro and Scout Access?

Roster Pro is the coach-side subscription, and it scales from a small roster to a full team so you can upload highlight film for every player you manage. Scout Access is billed separately from uploading and unlocks search and filtering across the entire player database, so you pay only for the search tools you use.

How do I delete a Gunnr account or a single player's profile?

Open Gunnr, go to Settings, tap Delete Account, and confirm; deletion runs immediately and you are signed out. If you cannot sign in, or you only want one player's profile removed while keeping the rest of your roster, email dev@adelyons.com.
