1. Introduction
Adelyons Software LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Gunnr mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share your data when you use Gunnr.
Our Commitment: We are transparent about the data we collect and how it's used. Gunnr connects football players, coaches, and scouts around AI-graded highlight film. Because many of our players are minors, we describe below — in plain terms — exactly what's public, what's paywalled, and what's never shared.
2. Information We Collect
Authentication Data:
- Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email address and a Google-issued ID token used to authenticate with our servers. We do not receive your Google password.
- Apple Sign-In: If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier and, on first sign-in only, your email address and display name. Apple may relay or mask your email at your option.
- Device Information: Device type, OS version, app version for app functionality and crash diagnostics.
Player Profile Data:
- Identity: Full name, jersey number, primary and secondary position, grad class year, and level/context (high school class, JUCO, college class, or transfer portal).
- School & Location: High school name, city, and state, geocoded to approximate coordinates for the Scout Access radius search.
- Player profiles are created by an account holder (the player, a parent, or a coach) — not directly by a minor signing up on their own, since the App requires OAuth sign-in.
Video & Grading Data:
- Video Files: Highlight videos you upload, stored long-term in a Google Cloud Storage bucket (see Section 5).
- Graded Metrics: Position-specific measurements (e.g. speed, release velocity, route-running grade), an overall (OVR) rating, category sub-scores, level-adjusted scoring, projected-impact scores, and an NFL-baseline percentile comparison — all extracted from your video by AI analysis.
Roster & Account Data:
- Roster: The set of player profiles tied to your account (a parent's own child, or a coach's team).
- Subscription & Purchase Records: We track your subscription status (Roster Pro tier, Scout Access) and upload-credit balance. Actual payment information is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store — we do not store payment details.
What We DO NOT Collect:
- Contact lists, photos unrelated to a player's profile, or other files on your device
- Background or continuous location tracking (school location is geocoded once from the address you enter, not from device GPS)
- Call logs, text messages, or communication metadata
- Google or Apple account passwords
- Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking identifiers for advertising purposes
3. Who Sees What
Gunnr has two levels of profile visibility:
Any signed-in user
Sees a summary of every public player profile: name, high school, position, and headline OVR. This is what makes cross-roster dedup (avoiding duplicate profiles) possible.
Scout Access subscribers
Can additionally search and filter every public player by position, OVR range, any individual raw metric, level, and location radius, and view the full graded breakdown — every metric, projection, and the NFL-baseline comparison — for any public player, not just their own roster.
The roster owner
Always sees full detail (every metric, video, projection) for players on their own roster, regardless of any subscription.
There is currently no way to make an individual player profile fully private — creating a profile makes its summary visible App-wide by design (this is a recruiting/discovery product). See our account deletion page if you want a profile removed entirely.
4. How We Use Your Data
- To Provide the App: Profile data, video, and metrics are used to deliver player cards, roster management, and Scout search.
- AI-Powered Grading: Your video is uploaded to Google Cloud Storage, processed by a Cloud Run worker, and graded by Google Gemini to extract position-specific metrics and the OVR rating. Google processes video data according to their privacy policy.
- Scout Discovery: Player profiles are made searchable to Scout Access subscribers to enable recruiting discovery, as described in Section 3.
- Location-Based Search: A player's school location (geocoded, not live GPS) enables Scout Access radius filtering.
- Analytics & Improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage helps us improve the app and grading accuracy.
- No Commercial Resale: We do not sell individual user or player data to third parties outside the Gunnr product, except as visible through the App's own summary/Scout Access visibility described in Section 3.
5. Video & Data Storage
- Raw video is stored long-term in a Google Cloud Storage bucket — chosen over database storage because it's the natural, cost-effective home for large video files, and the same worker that grades your video reads from and writes to it directly.
- Structured data (accounts, player profiles, graded metrics, purchase/credit records) is stored in Supabase (a PostgreSQL-based platform), access-controlled so that only your own account can write your roster's data, while public profile summaries are readable by any signed-in user as described in Section 3.
- Retention: Video and graded data are retained indefinitely (so a player's grading history stays intact across seasons) unless you delete the profile or your account.
- Encryption: All data in transit uses TLS encryption. Data at rest in Supabase and Google Cloud Storage is encrypted using each provider's industry-standard encryption.
In short: Gunnr is a cloud-based recruiting product. A player's profile summary and video-derived grades are visible within the App by design — that's what makes Scout discovery possible — and full detail is paywalled behind Scout Access or roster ownership.
6. Permissions & Why We Need Them
- Camera/Storage Permission: To select and upload highlight video from your device.
- Network/Internet Permission: To upload video, trigger AI grading, and sync your roster and Scout search results.
- No Background Location: The App does not request device GPS at all — school location is derived from the address you type in, geocoded once.
7. Sharing & Third-Party Services
- Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In: Handled by Google's and Apple's own authentication services; their respective privacy and privacy policies apply.
- Google Gemini API & Cloud Storage: Video is processed by Google Gemini and stored in Google Cloud Storage for grading. Google's privacy policy applies to their processing.
- Supabase: Account data, structured player/grading data, and purchase records are stored on Supabase infrastructure. See Supabase's privacy policy.
- RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase state is managed through RevenueCat, which relays store purchase events; we never receive your payment-card details.
- Player Profile Visibility: As described in Section 3 — summary to any signed-in user, full detail to Scout Access subscribers and the roster owner.
- No Further Data Sharing: We do not share individual user or player data with external recruiters, sports organizations, or data brokers outside the App's own Scout Access product.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
- Account Deletion: You can request complete account deletion at any time — see our account deletion page. This removes your roster's player profiles, video, graded metrics, and purchase-credit records from Supabase and Google Cloud Storage.
- Individual Profile Removal: A parent or coach can request removal of a single player's profile without deleting the whole account by emailing dev@adelyons.com.
- No Archival: Adelyons does not retain archived copies of deleted data, unless required by law.
- Backup Copies: Supabase and Google Cloud maintain automated backups for disaster recovery; these are deleted per their retention policies.
9. Children's Privacy
Gunnr is a football recruiting product whose player community includes minors. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):
- The App does not let a child sign up directly and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 — every player profile is created by an adult account holder (a parent, guardian, or coach) who is responsible for that decision.
- Parents/guardians can request review, correction, or deletion of their child's profile and video data at any time by contacting dev@adelyons.com.
- Coaches uploading video of players under 18 are responsible for having the authority or consent described in our Terms of Service.
10. International Privacy Laws
GDPR (EU/EEA Users):
- Legal Basis: We process personal data on the basis of: (a) consent (profile data, video), (b) contract performance (grading, Scout search), and (c) legitimate interest (app improvement).
- Your Rights: You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Contact dev@adelyons.com to exercise these rights.
- Data Transfers: Your data is stored in Supabase and Google Cloud infrastructure (may be US-based). By using Gunnr, you consent to data transfer and processing outside the EU.
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Your Rights: You have the right to know, delete, and opt-out of data sales. Contact dev@adelyons.com to request these rights.
- Data Selling: We do not sell personal information, except as disclosed via the App's own Scout Access visibility (which may constitute "sharing" under CCPA).
11. Security Measures
- Encryption in Transit: TLS for all data transmission.
- Encryption at Rest: Supabase- and Google Cloud-managed encryption for stored data.
- Access Controls: Row-level security limits who can write to a roster's data; only Scout Access subscribers can read full profile detail outside a user's own roster.
- Vulnerability Reporting: If you discover a security vulnerability, contact dev@adelyons.com with details. We commit to responding within 48 hours.
12. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as we improve the app or to comply with legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via app notification or update prompt. Continued use of Gunnr after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
