Checkfall does not collect your personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it makes no network calls at all except for the in-app purchase itself.
What stays on your device
Everything you do in the game is stored only on your device: your profiles, your saved run, your collection of discovered abilities and foes, your lifetime statistics, and your settings. None of it is transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
The one-time purchase
Checkfall sells a single one-time unlock. The payment itself is handled entirely by Apple or Google - we never see your name, your email or your payment details.
To recognise the purchase and to restore it if you reinstall or change device, we use RevenueCat as our billing provider. RevenueCat receives:
- a randomly generated installation identifier that we create on your device and that is not linked to you, your name, your email or your advertising id;
- the purchase receipt issued by Apple or Google, and your country as the store reports it.
That identifier exists so that a purchase you already paid for can be given back to you. It is not used for advertising or profiling, and it is not sold or shared with anyone else. RevenueCat's privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Game Center and Play Games
If you are signed in to Game Center (Apple) or Play Games (Google) on your device, Checkfall reports your achievements and your best reign scores to that service so they appear on your platform profile. This is optional: declining costs you nothing and the entire game remains playable. What those services do with the data is governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.
Children
Checkfall is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Your rights
Because we hold no account and no personal data, there is nothing about you for us to show you or delete. If you would like the purchase record associated with your installation identifier deleted, email dev@adelyons.com and we will remove it - note that doing so also removes our ability to restore your purchase to you.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also appear in the app's release notes.
