Drag your thumb around the rim of the dial to set any duration, or tap a preset chip — 5, 10, 15, 25, or Custom. Then tap Start. While it runs you can pause, add a minute, or cancel.
How do I build a routine?
Go to Routines → New routine, name it, and add a step for each stretch of time with its own label, duration, and color. Reorder steps by dragging. Start the routine and it advances by itself, playing a chime between steps.
How do I get the countdown on my lock screen?
On iPhone, allow notifications and make sure Live Activities are enabled for Timedisk in iOS Settings, then start any timer — the disk appears on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island. On Android, allow notifications and the timer runs as a foreground notification with a progress bar.
My alert didn't sound. What happened?
Check that notifications are allowed for Timedisk, that your device is not in a Focus, Do Not Disturb, or silent mode that suppresses it, and that battery saver is not restricting background activity. Also note Timedisk is an everyday timer — please don't rely on it for medication, medical, or other safety-critical reminders.
Does the timer keep time if I close the app?
Yes. The countdown is anchored to the moment it is due to finish, not to ticks, so locking the phone, closing the app, or having it killed by the system does not cause drift. Reopen it and the disk agrees with the lock screen.
What's free and what's Pro?
Free is the whole timer: the disk, presets, alerts, the lock-screen countdown, and one saved routine of up to three steps. Pro adds unlimited routines and steps, all themes including kid mode and dark, custom end sounds, and warning customization.
What are the plans?
Lifetime is a one-time purchase — pay once, own it, nothing renews. Annual starts with a 7-day free trial and then bills yearly. Prices come from the App Store or Google Play and are shown in the app before you buy.
How do I restore my purchase?
Go to Settings → Restore purchases, or the Restore link on the upgrade screen. Make sure you're signed in to the same App Store or Google account you purchased with.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Manage or cancel anytime in your device's store settings: App Store → your name → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. A one-time Lifetime purchase has nothing to cancel.
How do I turn on kid mode?
Settings → Theme. Adult clean is the default and free for everyone; kid mode and dark are part of Pro.
Does Timedisk need an account or internet?
Neither. There is no sign-up, and everything is stored on your device — the app works in airplane mode. See our Privacy Policy.
