Privacy Policy

The short version: Timedisk is local-first. Your timers, routines, presets, and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us or any server. There is no account, no cloud backend, and the app works entirely offline.

1. Who we are

Timedisk is published by Adelyons Software LLC ("we", "us"). You can reach us at dev@adelyons.com.

2. What we collect

We do not collect your personal information. Timedisk works entirely on your device. The following stay on your phone and are never transmitted to us:

Your routines, step labels, durations, colors, and sounds
Your presets, recent durations, and running timer state
Your theme, alert, and keep-awake settings

There is no sign-up, no login, and no profile. We operate no server and hold none of your routine data. The one off-device record is the anonymous purchase validation held via RevenueCat if you bought Pro — it can be deleted on request: see our data deletion page. There is no account for you to close.

3. Lock-screen countdown and notifications

The live countdown is rendered by your own device. On iOS it uses a Live Activity on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island; on Android it uses a foreground-service notification with a progress bar. In both cases the timer data stays on the device and is handed to the operating system to display — it is not sent to us or to any push service of ours.

4. Purchases

If you buy Timedisk Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google and validated through RevenueCat, Inc. To do this, a purchase record and an anonymous app-instance identifier are shared with those providers. This data is used only to verify your purchase and is not linked to your identity by us. See RevenueCat's privacy policy, and Apple's or Google's, for how they handle purchase data. This is the only situation in which Timedisk uses the network at all.

5. Device permissions

Notifications — used to show the timer's progress and to alert you when time is up. Notification content is generated and displayed locally.

You can grant or revoke this permission anytime in your device settings; the in-app timer still runs without it, but you will not get an alert when the app is in the background.

6. Analytics and tracking

Timedisk does not track you and contains no advertising. We do not collect analytics about what you time or how you use the app, and we do not sell or share personal information — we do not have any to sell.

7. Children

Timedisk is designed to be usable by families and classrooms, including a kid mode theme. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children, and contains no ads, no external links for children to follow, and no user-to-user features.

8. Your control

Everything is stored locally, so you are in full control. Deleting a routine removes it from your device, and uninstalling the app removes all of its on-device data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
