Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Strangefield (the “App”), published by Adelyons Software LLC, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License Grant
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.
3. The Service
Strangefield presents interpretive 3D reconstructions of places where unexplained encounters were reported, for entertainment and education. Scenes are built from open elevation data and published accounts; they are not survey-grade models, and an encounter shown in the App is a reconstruction of what was reported, not a claim that it happened. Each case also presents the leading conventional explanation. Strangefield is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any witness, researcher, organisation, landowner, broadcaster or government.
4. Purchases
Bluff Creek is free. Other cases are unlocked by one-time purchases (“case packs”) or a bundle of every pack, billed by the App Store or Google Play at your store’s local price. There are no subscriptions. Purchases are tied to your store account and can be restored with Restore purchases. Refunds are handled by the store under its policies.
5. Your photos
Photos you take in the App are yours to keep, save and share for personal, non-commercial purposes. The models, terrain and other content that appear in them remain ours. Every exported photo carries a footer identifying it as a 3D reconstruction; you agree not to remove it or to present a photo as a real photograph of a real event.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App except as permitted by law, not to extract its models or content for redistribution, and not to use the App or its images to deceive anyone.
7. Private land
Several cases take place on private or working land. The App does not give you permission to visit any site. If you visit a real location, stay on public rights of way and respect landowners.
8. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Historical information is provided for general interest and may be incomplete or revised by new research.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adelyons Software LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these Terms. Sections 8, 9 and 11 survive termination.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
