Common questions

How do I move and look around?

Drag anywhere to look. Use the stick in the bottom-left corner to walk. Tap a gold light to open a piece of evidence.

Where are my photos?

In the My Photos tab, grouped by case. Tap one to share it, save it to your gallery or delete it.

Why does every shared photo have a footer?

Because it's a 3D reconstruction, and it says so. It stops a render being passed off as a real photograph, and it tells whoever sees it where it came from.

How do I turn the sound off?

Settings → Sound. Off means silent, immediately. Narration has its own switch.

I bought a pack on another phone.

Open the lock icon, then Restore purchases, signed in to the same store account.

Do I need an internet connection?

Not once a case is on your phone.

Is this what really happened?

It's what was reported, rebuilt on the real terrain. Every case also shows the leading conventional explanation — switch on The other story — and every piece of evidence says whether it was reported, investigated, explained or is folklore.
