Delete Your Synced Data
Standing Date has no traditional account — there is nothing to sign in to and nothing to close. This page applies only if you linked a partner’s phone. Unlinked, nothing about you is stored off your device and there is nothing here to delete; deleting the app is enough.
Unlink in the app (immediate)
Open Settings → Link your partner’s phone → Unlink. The shared pair record is deleted on the server straight away, for both of you: the synced standing-date cadence, the current plan, the shared jar, the shared memories, both member records and the anonymous identities attached to them. Either person can do this; neither needs the other’s permission.
The copy on each phone stays. Your own ideas, plans, jar and memories are yours; delete them from within the app’s own settings, or by deleting the app.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the phone, email dev@adelyons.com with the subject line Standing Date Data Deletion Request. Because there is no account, tell us the six-character pairing code you used and roughly when you linked, or the install id shown in the app if you still have access to any linked device; that is enough to find and delete the pair.
What will be deleted
- The pair record, both member records and the anonymous sign-in identities attached to them.
- The synced standing-date cadence and history.
- The shared current plan and shared jar.
- The shared memories.
Not deleted: the copy on each phone (delete it in the app or uninstall), Surprise-date clues (these never sync to begin with), and purchase records held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat under their own policies.
