This Privacy Policy describes how MyOVR ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application MyOVR (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and the password you create.
  • Profile Information: Your display name and any profile photo you choose to upload.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including your self-assessment responses and player rating scores.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
  • Camera and Photo Library: Only accessed when you choose to upload a profile photo. We do not store images beyond your explicit upload.
  • Purchase Information: If you subscribe to MyOVR Pro, purchase transactions are processed by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but not your full payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Calculate and display your personalized player rating.
  • Process in-app purchases and manage subscription status via RevenueCat.
  • Send you coaching tips and workout reminders (only if you have granted notification permission).
  • Improve and personalize your experience.
  • Respond to your support requests.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Supabase (supabase.com): Our backend database and authentication provider, which stores your account data securely.
  • RevenueCat (revenuecat.com): Our subscription management provider, which receives a user ID and subscription status to manage your Pro entitlement.
  • Apple / Google: In-app purchase transactions are processed directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) under their respective privacy policies.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through our public deletion request page or by contacting us at the email address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

You may also submit a request by email at dev@adelyons.com with the subject line MyOVR Account Deletion Request.

  • Include the email address associated with your MyOVR account.
  • You may also include your display name to help us locate the account faster.
  • If you have an active subscription, cancel it through Google Play or the App Store before requesting deletion.

Once your request is verified, we will delete or de-identify the data associated with your MyOVR account, including profile information, player ratings, training plans, progress records, and uploaded avatar images, except where limited retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or billing purposes.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your password is never stored in plain text. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.

Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
