Chainbreaker

Break the gods. Free the dawn.

God of War's Chained Blades — as the Whole Game

Chainbreaker is a physics flick-combat arena brawler. Your only weapons are two god-forged chains that exist as real physics ropes: flick to whip, drag to lasso and wrap, pinch to yank, circle to sweep, and two-finger to tether two bodies together. The arena answers with cel-shaded anime spectacle and ragdoll comedy — the physics writes the jokes, and every good run auto-captures a shareable clip. Fight up through five sanctums of the dead pantheon of Kaldera to break the Titan's bindings.

What it is:

  • The chain is the protagonist — a simulated rope with mass hitting simulated bodies with mass; the outcome is emergent every time
  • One thumb-sheet of verbs — flick, wrap, yank, spin-sweep, tether, slingshot, dash, lane-shift
  • 2.5D arenas with three combat lanes and a style meter that ranks D → SS and pays out embers
  • The environment is the ammo — spikes, braziers, swinging cages, and levers do the real damage
  • Cel-shaded anime motion — smear-frame chains, hit-stop on every impact, ragdoll comedy; the screen is never still
  • Local-first — no account, no login, no server; your progress lives on the phone

Coming soon to the App Store & Google Play.

Stylized cartoon action — zero gore, zero blood. Chainbreaker is rated for a teen audience: enemies burst into embers, sparks, and shards, and the violence is slapstick physics comedy, not realism. There are no subscriptions and no consumable currency for sale — just one honest unlock and cosmetic chain skins.
Chainbreaker gameplay — the Foundry Floor arena in obsidian and foundry red, the chain-wielding warrior mid-fight with a dangling physics chain, a thrall and a hookman across the lanes, spike pits and braziers as hazards, and a D-rank STYLE meter up top

How It Works

⛓️ Every Gesture Is a Physics Rope

Flick for a whip strike, drag to steer the tip and wrap a target, pinch to yank it toward you (or yourself toward it), circle to spin-sweep a crowd, and tether two enemies with a two-finger drag so they clothesline each other. The rope has mass and never tunnels — the outcome is emergent, slapstick, and different every time.

🏛️ The Environment Is the Ammo

Every arena keeps at least three hazard types on screen: spike walls, ledges, swinging cages, braziers, and crusher gates. Hazards hurt enemies far faster than they hurt you, and any kill that uses a hazard or a tether pays more style and more embers than a raw whip. The chain is a manipulation tool first, a damage hose second.

💥 Style Ranks D → SS

Chain your verbs and never repeat yourself: variety keeps the style meter climbing from D to a screaming SS. Style multiplies your ember payout and gates the leaderboards — playing stylishly is the economy. Take a hit and you drop a letter.

🎬 Clips the Physics Writes for You

A triple-kill, a tether double-kill, or an SS rank marks the last few seconds of the run. On the results screen it re-simulates to a clean MP4 with a slow-mo kill frame and a style stamp — replay-based capture, so it costs nothing during play. Every share is an ad the physics authored.

⚔️ Five Sanctums, Five Relics

Break up through five biomes of Kaldera — the Emberdeep Foundry, the Colosseum of Pale Moons, the Storm-Temple of Okeros, the Sunken Pits of Thalvessa, and the Titanfall Ossuary — each with a boss that is a chain-interaction puzzle wearing a spectacle costume. Earn five relic chain-heads, each with its own wrap behavior and a nine-node upgrade tree.

🔒 Local-First & On-Device

No account, no login, no server. Your progress, relics, upgrades, and cosmetics live on your device, and runs are deterministic on-device physics. The only data that ever leaves the phone is a purchase, handled by the App Store or Google Play.

One Unlock Breaks Every Chain

The complete first biome — the Emberdeep Foundry, its six arenas and two bosses, the Emberfang relic's full upgrade tree, and the daily challenge — is free forever. The free biome is the trial. The Full Circuit is a single one-time purchase that unlocks Biomes 2–5, every boss sanctum, circuit mode with Edicts, and the Titanfall ending. Chain-skin sets are pure cosmetic (they change your clip, never the fight), and there are no subscriptions and no currency for sale.
