Adelyons launches PawnCounter for independent pawn shops

Our first product for a business rather than a phone is live. PawnCounter reads the files a pawn shop's point-of-sale already exports and shows what to mark down, what to sell off, and what the loan book is earning.

Adelyons Software today opened PawnCounter to independent pawn shops in the United States. It is a web application: a shop uploads the export its POS already produces, or lets a small helper send the file each day, and gets a report back on its own stock.

The free tier, the Profit X-Ray, shows the top five items to sell off and the top five to mark down, kept current with every upload, and a weekly email with the shop's numbers. Two paid plans add the full lists and the counter tools. Starter is $79 a month; Pro is $149 a month; both carry a 14-day trial, and paying yearly gives two months free. The pricing page lists what each plan includes, feature by feature.

What it reads at launch

  • LeadsOnline exports, CSV and XML
  • WinPawn, Hi-Tech Pawn and Pawn Tracker
  • CAPSS XML for California
  • Any POS that can export a CSV, including Pawn Wizard and PawnSnap

Each has a step-by-step export guide. Bravo and PawnMaster are not yet supported; a shop on either can still write in, and we will help get the data out.

Where to start

The product page here explains what PawnCounter is and who it is for. The sample report shows what comes back. And the free Profit X-Ray is the shortest route: no card, no install, and the POS stays exactly as it is.

Questions go to support@pawncounter.com, which the people who wrote it read.
