TranceForm — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how TranceForm ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application TranceForm (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. What We Collect

TranceForm is designed to be privacy-first. Here is what the App does and does not collect:

• Goals & Progress: Stored entirely in a local SQLite database on your device. We never upload your goals, roadmaps, or session history to any server.
• Session Scripts: Generated on-demand by sending only your goal text to an AI service (see Section 3). Scripts are then stored locally and played back via your device's text-to-speech engine. Scripts are not retained on any server after generation.
• Anonymous Usage Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymous data about how features are used (e.g., how often sessions are completed). This data is not linked to you personally and does not include the content of your goals or sessions.
• Purchase History: Managed by RevenueCat and Apple/Google. We receive only your anonymous app-user ID and entitlement status (e.g., whether you have an active subscription or credit balance). We do not receive payment card details.
• Device Identifier: An anonymous, randomly generated identifier is used internally to manage your purchase entitlements. It is not linked to your name, email, or any identifying information.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, microphone input, or any other personal data.

2. How We Use Information

• To generate your personalized goal roadmap and daily session scripts via an AI service (your goal text is sent to the AI; nothing else is included).
• To manage your credit balance and subscription entitlements via RevenueCat.
• To deliver voice-guided sessions using your device's native text-to-speech engine.
• To measure anonymous feature usage so we can improve the App.

3. Third-Party Services

We share limited information with the following third parties solely to operate the App:

• Anthropic (Claude AI): When you create or generate a session, only your goal text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a script. This request is processed via a server-side edge function and is not stored long-term. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat (revenuecat.com): Manages subscription status and credit purchases using your anonymous device identifier. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple / Google: In-app purchases are processed directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) under their respective privacy policies.
• Google Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymous, aggregated usage data. No personal information or goal content is included. See Firebase's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your data to any third party, ever.

4. Data Storage & Security

All personal data — your goals, roadmaps, daily sessions, and progress — is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. This data never leaves your phone except as described in Section 3 (goal text sent to AI for script generation).

All communication with third-party services is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

5. Data Deletion

Because your data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all of it at any time by uninstalling the App. Uninstalling removes your local database entirely.

If you have an active subscription, cancel it through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) before uninstalling to avoid future charges.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

Because we collect minimal data, your primary control is through your device. You may also:

• Request information about any data we hold associated with your anonymous device identifier.
• Request deletion of any such data.
• Opt out of Firebase Analytics by disabling ad tracking in your device settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
