Debt Ladder

Until you no longer owe.

Type In What You Owe. See The Date You're Free.

Debt Ladder is a debt payoff planner that turns your cards and loans into one number that matters: your debt-free date. Pick the snowball or the avalanche method, log what you actually pay each month, and watch the date move closer. No bank login, no account, no ads.

What it does:

  • Enter each card or loan — balance, APR, minimum, due day
  • Get a payoff order, per-debt dates, and your debt-free date
  • Log extra payments any amount, any day — the plan re-projects instantly
  • Compare snowball vs. avalanche on your real numbers
  • Fully on-device — no bank linking, no account, nothing to leak

The number that matters

Your debt-free date

Everything else in the app exists to move it.

  • Payoff order for the strategy you chose
  • Interest saved by every extra payment
  • A monthly check-in that takes a minute
  • A balance curve that only goes one way

How It Works

Enter your debts once

Name, balance, APR, minimum payment, due day. Five fields per card or loan, and no permission screen asking to connect anything. Two minutes of typing replaces a bank login you should not have to hand over.

Snowball or avalanche

Choose smallest balance first for momentum, or highest APR first for the lowest interest. Debt Ladder builds the ordered payoff timeline either way, with the month each debt clears.

Extra payments done right

Any amount, any day, on any debt. A bonus in March and a spare fifty in April both count, and the debt-free date recomputes the moment you save them — the exact thing other payoff planners made harder.

A monthly check-in

Once a month, tap through what you actually paid. Balances update, the plan re-projects, and the progress bar tells you how far down you are and how far is left.

What-if, before you commit

See what an extra $100 a month does to your finish date. Drop a one-off snowflake payment into the plan and watch the interest saved. Compare both strategies side by side on your own balances.

Private by design

No account, no bank connection, no ads, no cloud. Your balances are nobody's business, and in Debt Ladder they never leave your phone.

What is Debt Ladder?

Debt Ladder is a debt payoff app for iPhone and Android from Adelyons Software LLC. It is a debt snowball and debt avalanche calculator with a tracker attached: enter your credit cards and loans, set a monthly budget, and Debt Ladder computes the payoff order, the date each debt clears, the total interest, and your debt-free date.

The difference from a web calculator is that the plan stays alive. Each month you log what you paid — including extra payments of any amount on any day — and the projection updates against reality. The difference from most debt tracker apps is that Debt Ladder never asks to link a bank account. You type your balances in, and they stay on your phone.

It answers the questions people actually search for: when will I be debt free, how much interest will I save paying extra, and is the snowball or the avalanche better on my numbers. It answers them offline, with no sign-up wall in the way.

Frequently asked questions

What does Debt Ladder do?

Debt Ladder turns a list of what you owe into a payoff plan. Enter each card or loan with its balance, APR, and minimum payment, set a monthly budget, and pick the debt snowball or debt avalanche method. Debt Ladder calculates the order to pay them off, the date each one clears, and your debt-free date.

Does Debt Ladder connect to my bank?

No. Debt Ladder never asks for a bank login and has no bank-linking feature. You type in your balances yourself, which takes a couple of minutes and means there is no financial institution connection to trust, break, or leak.

What is the difference between the debt snowball and the debt avalanche?

The snowball method pays the smallest balance first, so you clear individual debts sooner and get quicker wins. The avalanche method pays the highest APR first, which usually costs less interest overall. Debt Ladder runs both on your real numbers so you can compare the debt-free dates and the interest saved before you choose.

Can I log extra payments?

Yes, and they are a first-class feature. Log any amount on any day — a bonus, a tax refund, a spare fifty dollars — and Debt Ladder re-projects the plan immediately, showing how much sooner you finish and how much interest that payment saved.

Is Debt Ladder available on iPhone and Android?

Debt Ladder is built for both iOS and Android and will be available on the App Store and Google Play at launch.

Where is my data stored?

Only on your device. Your debts, balances, APRs, and payment history are stored on your phone and are never sent to a server, because Debt Ladder has no account system and no cloud backend.

How much does Debt Ladder cost?

Debt Ladder is free for up to three debts, with the full check-in tracking, debt-free date, and reminders included. Debt Ladder Pro unlocks unlimited debts, snowball-versus-avalanche comparison, what-if sliders, and charts. Pro is offered as an annual plan that starts with a 7-day free trial, a monthly plan, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region.

Is Debt Ladder financial advice?

No. Debt Ladder is a planning and calculation tool. It projects payoff timelines from the numbers you enter; it does not recommend financial products, evaluate your circumstances, or provide financial advice. For advice about your situation, speak with a qualified professional.
