Afterkind is designed to be played offline, with no account. This policy explains the small amount of data the app handles and the optional online features that involve a server.
Playing Afterkind requires no account, no login, and no internet connection. Your game saves, settings, and local career statistics are stored only on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to them.
If you buy a Kind Pack or subscribe to Afterkind Online, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google and by our payments provider, RevenueCat, which tells the app which content you own. We receive an anonymous purchase status and never see your card details or personal payment information.
If — and only if — you subscribe to Afterkind Online and use its features, some data is stored on our servers to make them work:
This data is tied to your anonymous device identifier, not to a personal account.
Because there is no account, you control your online data from inside the app. Open Settings and choose “Delete my online data” to permanently remove your scores, rank, published Chronicles, and cloud backups from our servers. This does not affect your local game.
We may collect anonymous, aggregated diagnostic and usage data (such as crash reports and which screens are used) to improve the app. This is not linked to your identity.
Afterkind is suitable for ages 10+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The core game collects no personal data at all.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
