When emailing about a bug, please include your device model, iOS/Android version, and a short description of what you were doing when it happened. Screenshots help a lot. Please don't include sensitive health details you'd rather keep private — we don't need them to help.

Not medical advice. Wrenly provides general information and self-tracking tools only. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose any condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult your doctor, and call your local emergency number in an emergency.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the body-map pain log work?

Open the body-map and paint your pain directly onto a body silhouette — choose the location, intensity, and type (stabbing, dull, burning, or cramping). It captures far more than a single 1–10 slider, and over time Wrenly builds a personal pain heat-map so you and your doctor can see exactly where and how you hurt. It's a tracking tool, not a diagnosis.

I don't have a period / I've had a hysterectomy. Can I still use Wrenly?

Absolutely — this is a core part of Wrenly. If you don't bleed, Wrenly switches to a symptom-only rhythm instead of period and phase predictions, and the daily log has a dedicated "no bleed" path. Post-hysterectomy, menopausal, and continuous-hormone users are first-class here. Endometriosis can persist after a hysterectomy, and Wrenly is built for that.

How do I export my data or the doctor-visit report?

Your data is yours. Free export to CSV/PDF is available so you can keep your own copy or share it. With Wrenly+, you can also generate the doctor-visit PDF report — a clean one-page symptom timeline, pain heat-map, med response, and frequency stats, built to be believed in a short appointment. Everything is generated on your device and shared only when you choose; nothing is uploaded to us.

Where is my data stored? Is anything uploaded?

Wrenly is local-first. All of your health data — pain logs, body-map, cycle data, meds, symptoms, triggers, and notes — is stored only in a private database (SQLite) on your phone. There is no account and no cloud backend, and your health data never leaves your device. The only information that ever leaves your phone is purchase/subscription data needed to validate Wrenly+ (handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How does the on-device AI work? Is my data sent anywhere?

The private AI insights feature in Wrenly+ runs a small language model entirely on your phone. The first time you turn it on, Wrenly downloads the model (about 500MB) over the internet — but that download contains none of your data. After that, the AI reads only your own logs, on-device, to write a plain-language summary of your patterns. Your health data is never uploaded. The feature is opt-in, and on devices that can't run the model it's simply hidden.

How do I delete my data?

Because everything is stored on your device, you're in full control. You can delete individual entries in the app, clear the app's data from within the app or your device settings, or uninstall the app to permanently remove all of its locally stored data (including any downloaded AI model). There is no server-side copy for us to delete. Consider exporting first if you'd like to keep a record.

What does Wrenly+ include, and what does it cost?

Wrenly's core tracking is free, forever, and needs no card. Wrenly+ unlocks flare forecasting, the trigger correlation engine, the doctor-visit PDF report, private on-device AI insights, and unlimited history (plus full body-map heat-map history). Plans are: Monthly — $3.99/month, Annual — $19.99/year (recommended), and a one-time Lifetime — $39.99. Honest pricing, no dark-pattern trials. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app at purchase.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through your App Store or Google Play account. On iOS: open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Wrenly. On Android: open Google Play → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Wrenly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we never hold your subscription or data hostage. The Lifetime purchase is a one-time payment with nothing to cancel.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy Wrenly+, open Wrenly, and use the "Restore Purchases" option in settings. Your Wrenly+ entitlement will be restored. (Note that your health data lives on each device locally and is not transferred by the purchase restore.)

Does Wrenly work offline?

Yes. Because your data lives on your device, logging, the body-map, cycle tracking, forecasts, and report generation all work without an internet connection. A connection is only needed to make or restore a purchase, or for the one-time AI model download.

Is Wrenly a medical device or medical advice? Can it diagnose endometriosis?

No. Wrenly is a self-tracking and organization tool that provides general information. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose any condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Its forecasts, correlations, and AI summaries are informational aids based on the data you enter. Always consult your doctor, and if you think you're having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
