Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 10, 2026
Overview
Leap of Faith ("Leap of Faith," "the Game," "the App") is developed by Adelyons Software LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). Leap of Faith is a single-player, local-first parkour-runner game. This policy explains how the App handles your information.
The short version: Leap of Faith is local-first. There is no account, no login, no cloud, and no server. Everything the game creates — your profile, best stamps, wardrobe, Florins, season progress, and settings — is stored only on your device and never leaves the phone. We use no third-party analytics or cross-app tracking SDKs. There are no banner or interstitial ads; the only ad is an optional run-end "double your stamp" you can choose to watch. The only data that leaves your device is purchase data, handled by Apple, Google, and our purchase provider (RevenueCat), and, if you opt into a stamp-double, a request to the ad provider. We never receive, sell, or have access to your game data.
Information Stored On Your Device
The following is created and stored locally on your device only, in a single save file within the App. It is not transmitted to us or to any server:
- Profile & scores: Your best distances, furthest landmark reached, and daily-route results held locally.
- Wardrobe & Florins: The cosmetics you own or have equipped and your Florins balance.
- Season progress: Your Chronicle tier and track progress.
- Clips & stamp cards: Any run clips or stamp cards you generate and choose to save or share are produced on-device.
- Settings & preferences: Your in-app options.
Because this data lives only on your device, it is removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
No Account, No Cloud, No Server
- Leap of Faith does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address, phone number, name, or any other identifier.
- We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or backs up your game data. There is no backend anywhere in the App.
- Your data is not synced between devices by us. If your device's operating system backs up app data (for example through iCloud or Android backup that you have enabled), that backup is controlled by you and your platform provider under their policies — not by us.
- Leaderboards, where offered, use the platform's own service (Apple Game Center or Google Play Games) under that provider's policy; we do not run a scores server.
The Game Runs On Your Device
Leap of Faith's gameplay — the run generator, pursuit system, and the deterministic replay used to render your shareable clips and ghost races — runs entirely on your device. There is no language model or AI service involved, and the game requires no network connection to play (only to make an optional purchase or load an optional rewarded ad). Nothing about your play is sent anywhere to run the game.
Optional Purchases
Leap of Faith is free to download and free to play in full, with optional cosmetic purchases. Purchases are handled by trusted providers:
- Apple App Store / Google Play: When you make a purchase, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. We never receive or store your payment-card details.
- RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to validate and restore your purchases. RevenueCat receives a purchase token, an anonymous app-generated identifier, and basic device and purchase metadata needed to deliver and restore your purchase. It does not receive any of your game data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Purchases include one-time cosmetics and passes (non-consumable) and Florin coin packs (consumable); Florins are spent only on cosmetics. If you never make a purchase, no purchase-related data is sent. Purchases are governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Google Play's Terms of Service.
The One Ad: Optional "Double Your Stamp"
The only advertising in Leap of Faith is a single optional rewarded offer on the post-run results screen — "double your stamp" — that doubles your run's Florins and adds a 2× seal to your share card after you watch a short video. There are no banner ads and no interstitial ads, and no ad is ever shown during a run.
- The offer is opt-in. If you never accept it, no ad is loaded or shown, and no request is made to the ad provider.
- When you accept, the rewarded ad is served by our ad provider, which receives the technical data it needs to serve and count the ad under its own privacy policy. Where required (for example in the EEA/UK), a consent prompt is shown first.
- Ads are configured for a teen content rating and non-personalized / contextual serving — the App does not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- The Remove Ads purchase hides the offer entirely and applies the 2× automatically, and the ad system is not initialized for those players.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect, upload, or store your game data on any server.
- We do not require an account, email address, phone number, name, or login.
- We do not collect location data or your contacts.
- We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) or cross-app tracking, and we do not show personalized ads.
- We do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs in the App that send your usage or personal data to us.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. There is nothing for us to sell — your data stays on your phone.
Data Retention & Deletion
- Clear or delete in-app: Clear the App's data from within the App or your device settings at any time.
- Uninstall: Deleting the App from your device permanently removes all of its locally stored data. Because there is no server, there is no server-side copy to delete and no account to close.
- Purchase records: Purchase records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat are retained under their respective policies. You can restore non-consumable purchases at any time from a clean install.
Security
Your data stays within the App's private storage on your device, protected by your device's operating system. Communication with the App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, and (if you opt in) the ad provider uses encrypted (TLS) connections. No system can guarantee absolute security, but keeping your data on-device means there is no central database of your game data to breach.
Children's Privacy
Leap of Faith carries a mild-fantasy age rating (about 9+/E10) and is intended for a general audience; it is not a "Designed for Families" or Kids Category app and is not directed to young children under 13 for data-collection purposes. It does not request that children provide information to us. Because everything is local and there is no server, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. If you believe information somehow reached us, contact us using the details below and we will help.
Your Rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR (EU/EEA/UK) and CCPA/CPRA (California) give you rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to opt out of its sale. Because Leap of Faith does not collect or store your personal data on our servers, we hold nothing about you to disclose, correct, or sell. You can control your in-app data using the options above. For any data held by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or (if you opted in) the ad provider, contact those providers or reach us using the details below and we will help.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
